Welcome
B&M Metal Recycling was founded in 1979 in Scarborough Ontario. The location was at a small sorting plant, dealing mainly with non-ferrous materials and employing only 5 workers.
In 1993, after a number of years of hard work, determination, and overcoming many obstacles B&M Metal Recycling bought a larger processing facility in Hamilton Ontario. B&M continued to operate the Scarborough location, while renovating and making the Hamilton processing plant more efficient than it previously was. The Scarborough location was gradually phased out by 1997.
The acquisition of the non-ferrous processing plant has given us the opportunity of expanding our customer base both nationally and internationally. B&M Metal Recycling continues to expand, and in 2000 B&M acquired a parcel of land north of its existing plant. This acreage gives us an excellence area for heavy material sorting and handling, and in 2004 we purchased a Baler / Shear to augment our non-ferrous core and move B&M into the ferrous market. We currently offer the ability to sort and process materials, steel, or aluminium by chopping, baling or shearing. These processes would provide a better selling price as they would be considered up-grated for direct mill use.
Our facility is also able to toll your own material depending on volume.
As an added service and upon request, B&M Metal Recycling has a number of bins/containers that we could deliver to your site for metal material removal. Please contact us for more information.
B&M Metal Recycling is fully licenced by The Ministry of Environment.
